Why can I not see all my bank accounts?

LifeTidy uses Open Banking to read your account balances, but not all banks are part of the Open Banking network and in addition in some cases not all type of accounts are accessible via Open Banking. If you are unable to link your accounts then you can create your own account record on LifeTidy and manually update your balances.

Can I see information from more than one bank account?

Yes, assuming your bank has Open banking, you can link information from any number of bank accounts.

Can I see information from my Travel Cards and Kids Pocket Money Cards?

In theory yes, but in practice not every card company has gone live yet. Do let us know if you are trying to connect to a company not on the list and ask our partner to ensure that credit card company is on their collaboration list.

I have been asked to Authorize Access, why?

UK regulations state that you must authorize us to have access to your bank information. This is all part of the security to ensure only companies like us that you trust can access the information.

I have been asked to Re-Authorize Access, why?

Currently the law is that every 90 days you have to re-authorize us to access your bank information so that we can show it to you. This is all part of the security to make sure you only share your data with people like us that you feel comfortable with.

How secure is my information?

Data security is at the core of everything we do, and we work to the highest levels of financial industry security protocols. LifeTidy incorporates the same cyber security technology used by the banking and financial services sectors and we are governed and audited under the same security and privacy frameworks.

I looked up LifeTidy on the FCA website and you are not listed as an AIS (Account Information Service) Provider?

No, Lifetidy is not regulated as an AIS provider under PSD2 (Payment Services Directive Two) the EU legislation designed to make open banking possible and secure. We use a partner called Yapili who is regulated and listed on the FCA website.

How can I close my account?

It will be sad to see you go but we also respect your decision to leave. To delete your account/profile, please navigate to Your Profile page. On this page, you will be presented with a button with label “Delete Profile”. On click/press of this button, you will be asked to reconfirm your action. Once you confirm, we will delete your account and all your data. This action is irreversible, and we will not be able to help you recover your data once deleted.

What do you do with my information after I close my account?

Your data will be erased unless required by HMRC.

How can I give access to my LifeTidy account after I die to a chosen person in my Will. I don’t want to give access today?

Yes, you can include this in your Will, but you will need to provide full access details including your password to facilitate access. We will be introducing a secure key code in future to allow you to do this without giving away your access details

Do you share my data with other companies?

Your data will only be shared with those companies necessary for us to fulfil your services and that you have consented us to share it with based on our privacy policy.

Will my data go outside of the UK?

All your data will remain within the UK and the EU.

Do you comply with the current data protection regulations?

Lifesafe Technology Limited (trading as LifeTidy) is compliant with the UK data protection law under GDPR.
